Used Cooking Oil (UCO)
Waste cooking oil collected from restaurants, food processing facilities, and households, which can be refined and converted into biodiesel. UCO is classified as a second-generation (advanced) biofuel feedstock because it is a repurposed waste product, not a virgin edible oil. KSA Synergy is an ISCC-certified UCO exporter, ensuring that every batch of used cooking oil we supply comes with proper documentation of its sustainable origin, chain-of-custody, and greenhouse gas emission savings. Our UCO is filtered and tested for quality parameters (such as Free Fatty Acid content and moisture) to meet biodiesel producers’ specifications. We offer UCO in bulk (ISO tanks or flexibags) and facilitate all export paperwork, including ISCC-EU certificates, so that our clients can seamlessly claim sustainability credits. Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME)
A residual sludge waste derived from palm oil production, POME is a liquid waste by-product that contains residual oils and organic matter. Through proper processing (e.g., filtering and separation), oil can be extracted from POME – often referred to as POME oil or palm sludge oil – which serves as a valuable feedstock for biodiesel and renewable fuel. KSA Synergy supplies ISCC-EU certified POME-based feedstock, helping clients tap into this non-food, advanced feedstock for biofuel manufacturing. We work with palm oil mills and bioprocessing facilities to capture and treat POME, converting a pollution source into a renewable resource. Our POME oil meets the necessary quality criteria for biodiesel transesterification or hydrogenation into green diesel. By providing POME, we enable biofuel producers to diversify their raw material base and enhance their sustainability profile.
