Paving Grade Bitumen 40–50
A hard penetration-grade bitumen with a penetration value between 40 and 50 (tenths of millimeter), indicating a relatively stiffer asphalt binder. This grade is ideal for high-temperature climates and heavy-duty pavements – such as highways, airport runways, or high-traffic intersections – where added hardness prevents softening and rutting under intense heat or load. KSA Synergy supplies 40/50 bitumen that meets rigorous specifications (ASTM, EN or JIS standards as required). We ensure the bitumen’s properties like viscosity, softening point, and penetration index are within the required range for consistent performance. Our logistics capabilities include bulk transport in thermal bitumen tankers or packaging in drums, depending on the client’s needs. Paving Grade Bitumen 60–70
A medium-hardness bitumen with penetration between 60 and 70, widely used as the standard binder for asphalt roads in many regions (including Southeast Asia). This grade offers a balance of flexibility and stability, suitable for general road construction, urban paving, and moderate traffic conditions. KSA Synergy’s 60/70 bitumen is sourced from reputable refineries and tested to ensure it has uniform consistency and performance characteristics. We emphasize proper handling to preserve quality – keeping the bitumen heated and agitated as needed to prevent separation. Clients using our 60/70 bitumen benefit from its ease of application and reliable adherence to aggregates, resulting in smooth pavements with good resistance to cracking and deformation.
